Project Goals and Setting
Emerald City: The Rise of Eros is a cinematic audio drama focused on emotional, relatable storytelling. It explores themes of love, war, mental health, and personal struggles, showing how people can overcome challenges like guilt, rejection, and broken trust. Set on the magical planet of Rifterria, the story takes place in a world full of danger and wonder. Emerald City is a safe haven for its people, located near a magical sea that has transformed the planet into a hostile place. Deadly creatures like bug-like Hord swarms, massive beasts, and Titans constantly threaten the city, which relies on magical technology for survival.

Storyline and World-Building
The story follows Sophia Starlight, a skilled bodyguard who joins a project to create rifts—portals to bring help from other worlds. Things get personal when she discovers her ex, Ethan Sage, is a lead scientist on the project. As they work together, they face their past while rebuilding trust. Meanwhile, Eros, a warlock brought into the city through a rift, becomes a key player in the fight for survival. With mind-control powers, Eros blurs the line between good and evil, leaving the city’s fate uncertain. Emerald City is also divided into four military factions—Explorers, Sunfire Renegades, White Crimsons, and Wildfire—each with its own way of life and technology. Together, these elements create a gripping story that asks, "What would you give up to survive?"
